Terms & conditions – January 2026

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking any course on margotwilliams.co.uk. By placing a booking, you are agreeing to these terms. 

 

1.   Booking & payment  

• Your place on the course is confirmed once full payment is received.  

• Payment is required in full at the time of booking.  

• Your booking secures a place for the full 5-week course and cannot be split across different courses or attendees.  

• Parents of twins or multiples are warmly welcome. In this instance, only one place needs to be booked as places are allocated per parent/family rather than per baby.  

 

2.   Attendance & missed sessions 

• Please note there will be no catch-up classes, rescheduling, or refunds for missed sessions. 

• The course is designed as a complete 5-week programme and attendance for the full duration is recommended to get the most out of the course.  

 

3.   Health & safety 

• The instructor will demonstrate the massage strokes on a teaching doll only.  

• Parents / caregivers are responsible for massaging their own child during the sessions. 

• The course is baby-led, which means you are encouraged to follow your baby’s cues (e.g. pausing for feeds, changes, or comfort breaks as needed). 

• Please do not bring any food items containing nuts into the class for the purposes of allergy management.  

• Please inform the instructor of any relevant health concerns (yours or your baby’s) before the course begins. 

• Parents / caregivers remain responsible for their child’s wellbeing throughout the class. 

 

4.   Illness 

•     If you or your baby are unwell (e.g. fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, contagious rash, or other infectious illness), please do not attend the class to protect the health of others. 

 

5.   Covid-19 

• Please do not attend the class if you or your baby, have tested positive for Covid-19, are showing symptoms, or are within a recommended isolation period. 

• Any changes to government or venue Covid-19 guidance will be followed, and you will be notified if these affect the course.

 

6.   Cancellations & refunds 

• Cancellations by attendees:   

o    If you cancel less than 7 days before the start of the course, no refund can be given. 

• Missed sessions: No refunds will be given for missed sessions once the course has started. 

• Cancellations by the instructor: In the event that the instructor needs to cancel a class (e.g. due to illness, emergency, or venue closure), every effort will be made to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund will be offered for the cancelled session. 

 

7.   Responsibility & liability 

• The instructor accepts no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or losses sustained during the course. 

• Parents / caregivers are responsible for their baby’s safety and care at all times during the class.  

 

8.   Confidentiality 

• From time to time the instructor may wish to take photographs for use in their marketing or promotional materials. Any photographs will only be taken with prior consent and parents will always have the option to decline or to specify how images of them or their baby may be used.  

• Consent for photography will always be discussed in advance and no images will be taken or shared without clear permission. Choosing not to give consent will not affect your experience of the course in any way.  

•       Any personal information shared will be kept confidential and used only for course administration purposes. Please see the privacy policy for further information.  

 

Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Gift cards purchased through margotwilliams.co.uk are valid for redemption against baby massage group courses or private one-to-one sessions, subject to availability and the terms below.

1. Purchase & delivery 
Gift cards are issued electronically once payment has been received in full. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure all delivery details are correct at the time of purchase.

2. Redemption 
Gift cards must be redeemed by visiting margotwilliams.co.uk to book an available course or session. Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once scheduled directly.

Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or alternative services outside of those specified.

3. Validity period 
Gift cards are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. Extensions may be granted at the discretion of Margot Williams in exceptional circumstances but are not guaranteed.

4. Transfers 
Gift cards may be gifted to another parent or caregiver with an eligible baby, provided the card has not already been redeemed. The original purchaser remains responsible for ensuring the recipient understands these terms.

5. Partial redemption 
If the value of the gift card does not cover the full cost of a course or session at the time of booking, the difference must be paid before confirmation.

If the booking costs less than the gift card value, any remaining balance may be used toward a future booking within the validity period. No cash refunds can be issued for unused balances.
 

6. Cancellation & rescheduling 
Once redeemed and booked, sessions are subject to the standard booking and cancellation policy outlined elsewhere in these Terms & Conditions.

Gift cards themselves are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law.

7. Lost or misused cards 
Gift cards should be treated like cash. Gift cards subject to loss, theft, or unauthorised use cannot always be replaced. Please contact Margot Williams promptly if you believe there has been an issue.

8. Changes to services 
Margot Williams reserves the right to adjust course formats, schedules, or pricing. Gift cards will be honoured for their purchase value toward available services.

9. Right to refuse redemption 
Margot Williams reserves the right to refuse redemption if a gift card is suspected to have been obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these terms.

By purchasing or redeeming a gift card, you agree to these Gift Card Terms & Conditions in addition to the general booking terms.
